November Recap: A Mix of Connections and Insights
November Recap: A Mix of Connections and Insights
1. Gold Card Annual Gathering
November kicked off with the Gold Card Annual Gathering, providing a platform for our team to engage with gold card holders. Conversations about their careers and businesses in Taiwan were inspiring. Meeting individuals like Srisakul Chaichuum, a friend and gold card holder from Thailand, deepened my understanding of experiences within our community.
Looking ahead, I'm eager to extend our outreach not only to gold card holders but to all foreign professionals contributing to Taiwan's professional landscape.
2. Singapore FinTech Festival and Speaking at Taiwan Pavilion
A highlight of the month was attending the Singapore FinTech Festival and speaking at the Taiwan Pavilion. It was a fruitful week of connecting with key players in the startup ecosystem and digital economy. Facilitating the exchange of valuable resources between Taiwan and Singapore was a rewarding experience, reinforcing the importance of global collaboration in fostering innovation.
3. Introducing Digital Field Gold Card at Taipei Tech
This initiative aims to position the Gold Card as the optimal visa program for foreign Ph.D. graduates from top Taiwanese universities, opening doors to diverse career opportunities. We were honored to co-host with OIA and share insights about this program with students, further strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.
Looking ahead to December
The momentum continues with exciting events:
- Meet Taipei — I invite all friends working or seeking opportunities in Taiwan to attend the International Digital Talent Forum and networking event on the global stage.
- Taipei Blockchain Week — In the next few weeks, we'll participate and meet attendees from around the world right here in Taiwan.
I'm grateful for the experiences and connections that have enriched my professional journey. Let's continue to connect not only this year but well into the future.
