Prioritize your health above everything else — including your dreams
Prioritize your health above everything else — including your dreams.
The first quarter of 2025 was fruitful, intense, and vibrant. We've dedicated a lot of energy to building founder and talent communities and leading outreach initiatives. At first, everything felt on track. We pushed ourselves to complete every task with excellence, and in many cases, exceeded our own expectations.
Somewhere along the way, I began to feel unwell — both mentally and physically. That's when I realized: this pace wasn't sustainable.
The quote "Life is not a sprint, it's a marathon" really hit home.
So I made the tough decision to pause many of the amazing things I was working on. Not because I didn't care, but because sometimes, many great things can drain and distract you.
During this time, I focused on healing
I spent time in therapy, read books, worked out, and drafted proposals (both for projects and for myself). I used this period to reflect on my core values and the kind of impact I truly want to create.
I'm learning to focus on what really matters. Yes, execution is important. But before that — take care of ourselves. That's the biggest lesson I've learned this quarter.
And still, I'm excited about what's to come in the weeks and months ahead. I want to thank everyone who's shown support and reached out — your patience and encouragement mean a lot.
If you've ever struggled with burnout or felt lost in your journey — past, present, or future — I'd be happy to chat over coffee.
